Seal Pups Seal pup is cold weather animal and normally lives in eastern Newfoundland and the Gulf of St. Lawrence and Russia. There are 35 species of seals in the world. Millions of seals live in this area due to cold and healthy environment for the seals. Seals lives under the water but they born their babies on ice or dry land. Seals cannot live on hot water or hot weather entwinements. Normally we divided the Seals into three families and these three families/types are; true seals, eared seals and walruses. In cold winter, one-third of seals gather in Canada's islands to birth seal babies. Here large number of seal babies born (Approximately 500,000) every year. We found smallest seal weight 30 kg and largest seal weight nearly about 2000 kg and above.



Land Seal Sanctuary True seals have no ears. The average life of Seals species is 20 years. Adult seals spend their time mostly in water and young seals spend most of their time on land. This event is very attractive for Wild life peoples to know about the psychology of this animal. If any body visits this area he/she can hear thousands of hungry seal pup babies voices and can catch images of beautiful new born babies. You can never see this seen anywhere in the earth. Seal pup babies grow quickly. After the birth of babies mostly seals go back to the north with their males and this follows young seals. Seal hunter, hunts the harp seal and the volume to kill the harp seals are increasing day by day specially in winter seasons when new babies are born.
